Dan Willard - Anchor Life and Health Insurance is an independent brokerage based in Middle Tennessee. We help Wilson County families and their neighbors across Middle Tennessee make confident decisions about Medicare, health coverage, life insurance and retirement income.

Dan Willard brings 20 years in the health and life insurance industry, including 5 years specializing in Medicare. That experience means fewer surprises for you: he has seen how plans behave over time, which carriers stand behind their claims, and where the fine print actually matters.
We built this business on a simple observation: most people do not have bad insurance because they made a bad decision. They have bad insurance because nobody ever sat down and explained the options honestly. That conversation is what we sell — the policy is just the paperwork at the end of it.

Independent by design
We are appointed with many carriers rather than employed by one, so the recommendation follows your situation instead of a sales quota.
Plain language, always
Medicare and life insurance are full of jargon that hides the trade-offs. We explain what a plan does not do as carefully as what it does.
Service after the sale
Enrollment is the beginning. We handle billing questions, denied claims, ID card problems and yearly plan reviews for as long as you are a client.
Local accountability
We are based right here in Middle Tennessee. Clients see us at church, at the co-op and at the ballfield. That is a level of accountability an 800-number cannot match.
What It Costs You
Nothing. Here is why that is true.
Insurance premiums are filed with the State of Tennessee and with Medicare. The price is identical whether you buy online, call the carrier directly, or work with us. When you enroll through us, the carrier pays a regulated commission — you never write us a check.
For Medicare specifically, commissions are capped and comparable across plan types, which removes the incentive to steer you toward one product over another. If a plan we do not carry is genuinely better for you, we will say so.
