Medicare Plans in Middle Tennessee

Sort out Original Medicare, Advantage, Supplements and drug coverage with a licensed local broker who explains it in plain English.

Medicare is not one product — it is a set of moving parts that has to be assembled around your doctors, your prescriptions and your budget. Anchor Life and Health Insurance sits down with Middle Tennessee families and walks through every piece: what Original Medicare pays, where the gaps are, and which private plans actually fit the way you use health care.

Because we are an independent brokerage in Middle Tennessee, we are not tied to one insurance company. We compare the carriers available in your ZIP code, check your prescriptions against each formulary, and confirm your providers at local Middle Tennessee Hospitals and clinics before you sign anything.

Problems we hear every week

The mailbox is full of look-alike offers

Dozens of carriers mail near-identical postcards every fall. None of them know your doctors, your medications or your income.

Nobody explains the trade-offs

Advantage versus Supplement is the single biggest Medicare decision, and most people make it based on a monthly premium alone.

Mistakes are expensive and permanent

Miss an enrollment window and you can face lifetime late penalties or lose the right to buy a Supplement without health questions.

How we solve it

1

A full needs review

We list your doctors, prescriptions, travel habits and budget before we ever mention a plan name.

2

Side-by-side carrier comparison

Real numbers on premiums, deductibles, drug costs and maximum out-of-pocket for every plan available in your county.

3

Enrollment and yearly service

We handle the paperwork, then re-check your plan each fall so an unnoticed co-pay or formulary change doesn't cost you hundreds.

Ready to see your options?

A review takes about twenty minutes, costs nothing, and ends with real numbers instead of a sales pitch.

What you gain

  • No fee to you — brokers are paid by the carriers, so our advice costs nothing
  • One local phone number instead of an 800-number queue
  • Coverage matched to your actual prescriptions and providers
  • A yearly review so your plan keeps up with plan changes

Serving Nashville and Middle Tennessee

We meet clients at their kitchen tables across Lebanon, Mt. Juliet, Gallatin, Gordonsville and Alexandria, and by phone or video anywhere in Middle Tennessee — from Watertown and Norene to Portland, Smithville and Murfreesboro. Plan availability changes by county, so a Wilson County resident and a Smith County resident may see very different options for the same premium.

FAQ

Medicare questions we answer often

When should I start looking at Medicare?+

About three months before you turn 65, or three months before you retire and leave employer coverage. Starting early gives you time to compare without a deadline forcing your hand.

Does using a broker cost more?+

No. Premiums are filed with the state and are identical whether you enroll through us, online or directly with the carrier. Our help is free to you.

Can I change my Medicare plan later?+

Advantage and Part D plans can be changed each year during the Annual Enrollment Period, October 15 to December 7. Medicare Supplements can be applied for any time, though health questions may apply after your initial enrollment period.

Do you work with people who have both Medicare and TennCare?+

Yes. Dual-eligible clients often qualify for special plans with extra benefits and can change plans more often than other beneficiaries.
